Arman Nuryshev used a powder container as the basis for an automated garbage can. The container is equipped with ultrasonic motion sensors, which are triggered when approaching the bin. «First we drew a sketch, after that we started putting all the details together and then we wrote the software. Our urn consists of an Arduino-this is a microcontroller, there is also a servo drive that raises and lowers the lid, and an ultrasonic sensor that gives a signal when the hand is approaching”, – said Arman Nuryshev, a student of the NIS Petropavlovsk. The development took no more than two weeks. The sensory urn took the first place in the competition of young inventors of Northern Kazakhstan. The project will continue: the student plans to supplement the automated urn with a basket filling sensor with a transmitted signal to a mobile device.
